Could you imagine if prescriptions would be an easy way to get fruits and veggies as it would help you save money? Well start doing so, because it is going to happen in New York City.

Two New York City area hospitals are starting to participating in a NEW national program that will allow doctors to prescribe fruits and vegetables to patients.

The patients that the program will target with these prescriptions will be high-risk, low-income patients who could benefit the most to start.

The patients prescriptions can be exchanged for what they call “Health Bucks” that are to be spent at local farmers markets.

Not a bad Idea, let's see how it works out.
