45th Annual Grand Rapids Bridal Show Hits DeVos Place Jan. 9-10 [Sponsored]

The 45th annual Grand Rapids Bridal Show is back, bigger and better than ever at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids on Jan. 9 and 10.

The largest bridal show in West Michigan offers one-stop shopping with everything under one roof, from the engagement ring to after-the-wedding living arrangements and everything in between -- and brides can attend free.

For brides to attend free, just register online with the Grand Rapids Bridal Show and a coupon for a free ticket will be e-mailed directly to you. Admission is $5 for fiancés, friends, family members and the public.

Event hours are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 9 (Friday) with a bridal fashion show at 7:30 p.m.; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 10 (Saturday) with bridal fashion shows at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. DeVos Place convention center is located at 303 Monroe Ave. NW.

The Grand Rapids Bridal Show's bridal fashion shows are inspired by the hottest trends in bridal and tuxedo fashions presented by Holland-based Caela Scott Bridal & Formal Wear and Grandville-based Bunny Tuxedos, set off by floral designs from Grandville-based Stems Market.

Bunny Tuxedos, the show’s producer, is expecting more than 100 wedding specialists from across Michigan, representing services and merchandise which brides and grooms will need for their big event. That includes everything from fashions, flowers and food to rings, receptions and romantic retreats.

“Our sponsors share ideas with the brides and many give out valuable coupons and discounts," Nelson said. “Brides that register on www.GRBridalShow.com are also registered to win over $5,000 in door prizes.”

For example, Dream Productions is giving away a seven-hour wedding DJ entertainment package; and Mackinac Island's Mission Point Resort is giving away two complimentary two-night stays in a garden view room.

In addition, each bride attending receives a free wedding planner.

Channel 95.7's Connie and Curtis are to be on hand during the two-day event.
