Steven Tyler and Joe Perry have both hinted that Aerosmith will head back into the studio in the near future and now drummer Joey Kramer has followed suit.

During a recent interview with SpinnerMusic.co.uk, the rocker says they are "destined" to keep making music.

"Yeah, we're going to make an album. That would be very special. I would like to see a record within a year from the Aerosmith boys. My brothers and I are destined to make another record in the next year or so," Kramer says.

"It's going to be an old-school Aerosmith record," he adds. "We're going to do it the old way with the whole band [in the same room] and it should be a good one. We're all anticipating."

Though it's been a rocky few years for the "Sweet Emotion" legends, Kramer says what hasn't killed them has made them stronger.

He added, "Really, at this point in time, the only thing that's going to stop us is if someone out-and-out dies. Other than that, we've already been through what we've been through and stood the test of time. What else is there?"
