Adele has been dominating on top of the U.S. album charts for quite sometime. Her album '21' has added a 23rd week in a row to its attempt to break the record for consecutive weeks at #1. If she manages to pull in one more week, she'll tie the all-time record set by Prince's 'Purple Rain' soundtrack in 1984. Adele's album was the biggest selling album in 2011, and so far, it's owning the chart in 2012 also. Adele has had 2 million album sales since January 1st.

The album, 'Whitney: The Greatest Hits', is staying strong at #2 followed by Kid Cudi's alternative rock album at #3. Not only are they owning the top, but Houston and Adele find other albums in the top 10. 'The Bodyguard' soundtrack, which is mostly Whitney Houston songs is at #5, while another one of her albums comes in at #10. Adele's '19' stands strong at #7 for a second week in a row as well.
