Alexis Clay just turned 17 this March, but has already done a ton of wonderful things for her community, the state of Michigan, and across the country.

Alexis has gone on several mission trips helping build Habitat For Humanity homes, repairing homes, churches and schools in some of the neighborhoods that need it the most.

She has also worked as a camp counselor, is active in high school sports, has been a part of FFA, and given out food to those in need.

At the current time Alexis volunteers at a place called "The 3 Mile Project" in Walker and has taken on a new venture with her family fostering children.  Alexis' family has just been placed with 4 new children under the age of 9, and Alexis helps with the kids and is a very positive role model.

Alexis' brother just underwent back surgery, he is only 16 and she helped take care of him and nurse him back to health.

She strives hard in school and has been accepted into the tech center next year as a senior.  Her family is, as they should be, amazingly proud of the young woman she has become and can't wait to see what she will do next.
