Amanda Bynes has ‘No Mental Illness”

Almost a year after she was arrested for throwing a bong out of a window of her New York City apartment, US Weekly reports that Amanda Bynes' mother is stating that the actress and comedienne does not suffer from a mental illness of any type. Her mother cites Amanda's marijuana use as  the cause of her erratic behavior.

After spending several months in rehab and in a psych ward for what was reported as mental illness treatment, Amanda seems to be doing significantly better, and is currently not taking any medications. She's deleted all of her previous offending tweets, and is now majoring in fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Orange County, Calif.
