Amazon Dash Might Just Be The Next Big Thing In Retail [Video]
Have you heard of Amazon Dash? At first I thought it was an April Fools prank, but I'm convinced this thing is real now.
Basically, if you're an Amazon Prime member you get small plastic buttons you can place around your home. You press the button for instant reordering of things like diapers, paper towels, toilet paper, everyday items. Each button is attached to a certain brand, so if you use Brawny paper towels, you would get a Brawny button to place in the cabinet where you keep the item. When you're out of the item, or getting low, you press the button. The button sends your order through Wifi and an app on your smartphone. It then charges your account, and new product is delivered to your home.
I can't help but think how great this would have been for someone like my mom when she was so busy with work and raising my brother and I.
I might get one for my toilet paper supply. I wait WAY too long before heading to the store to replenish (if ya know what I mean)
