American Idol Hopeful Shelby Miller

This morning we'll be talking with Shelby Miller, an American Idol hopeful from Portland, MI!

Shelby says this has been her dream since she was young. Now that she's in high school she continues to want to live out her dream. When she auditioned she sang the song "Wasted" by Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban was the first one to stop her and tell her how good she sounded.

Shelby auditioned way back in JULY and has had to keep things under wraps from EVERYONE she knows. (minus her immediate family)

Luckily, the cat's out of the bag now and she can gain support from her fellow Michiganders (and hopefully the rest of the USA!)
