Are Pets A Part Of Your Family?

A new study shows that dogs and cats are considered a member of the family more now than ever before.

About 66% of dog owners consider their puppy to be a member of the family. This is up from 58% back in 2006.

Cats are also on the up as well. 56% of cat owners also consider their kitty to be a part of their family. This is up from 49%

The survey also showed that pet owners who consider their pet a part of the family took their animal in for care almost 2 times as much as people who said that their pet was just a pet.
