Exported From Michigan is one of five films in the documentary category at ArtPrize OnScreen: Presented by Waterfront Film Festival, ArtPrize's new film competition.

Exported From Michigan shares Michigan's recent economic struggles and rebound. The film also offers a vision on what it will take to keep moving forward.

The film looks at ways to balance economic and environmental demands. That balance includes opportunities to become a manufacturing leader in new markets and ways to evolve agriculture to become more efficient and environmentally sound.

Education, cooperation and innovation are among the common themes seen a necessary to continue Michigan's positive momentum.

The film has already seen success at other festivals including the Orlando Film Festival, Beverly Hills Film Festival and Princeton Independent Film Festival.

Exported from Michigan will play at the Ladies Literary Club on Sunday, September 27 at 10:30AM.
