Hi, It’s Craig Russell, host of The Afternoon Hustle here on Classic Hits 98.7 WFGR! I have worked in places all over Michigan, but that’s not important. I’m here in West Michigan now, eatin' Fred's Pizza (yum!) buying my milk at Meijer, and playing Classic Hits of the 60's 70's and 80's FOR YOU! Call, email or Facebook the show and be part of the fun!

Whitecaps Unveil New Logo — What Do You Think? [POLL]
It's two days before Thanksgiving, and I'm talking baseball. How does THAT work out? The Whitecaps have introduced a new hat the team will wear on the road for the 2013 season. With a new logo. It's an homage to the Old English "D" the Tigers wear, and have worn, for over 110 years.
Why DO The Lions Always Play On Thanksgiving?
As usual, the Lions are having another stellar season. They will have to win the remaining games to hit the 10 win level that they reached last season. In other words, there's a good chance they won't make the playoffs again. But, regardless of their record, the Lions ALWAYS play one high profile game a year. On Thanksgiving.
UPDATE–Twinkies And Hostess Products Flying Off Shelves, Probably Will Survive Bankruptcy
If you were in a store over the weekend around West Michigan, you probably couldn't find a Twinkie or an Apple Pie on the shelf. I know I couldn't. Or there is always EBay...where boxes of Twinkies were selling for $200. Little Debb

If you have spent anytime in Michigan, November 10, 1975 is a date you know. It was 37 years ago today that the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior. While the ship is far from the only to have sunk in Lake Superior (since 1816 that number is 240) it's easily the most famous. Not many shipwrecks have a chart topping song written about them as well.
June 17, 1994 — The Most Famous Low Speed Car Chase In History
18 years ago today, the most famous low speed car chase in history took place on California Interstate 405. If for some reason you weren't one of the 95 million or so people watching it while it happened, here's a recap. A fugitive, OJ Simpson and his friend, Al Cowling took off in OJ's white Ford Bronco leading the police on a chase through the streets and freeways of Los Angeles. OJ eventually
