The Wrong Miss Universe Gets Crowned [Video]

Imagine the feeling of being given one of the top awards of your life... only for it to be taken away minutes later. That's what happened Sunday night during the Miss Universe pageant when host Steve Harvey announced the wrong winner!

It was down between Colombia and Philippines when Harvey announced that Miss Colombia took the title as the new Miss Universe. She was given her sash, flowers and was crowned. She happily cried and walked and thanked everyone when Harvey broke in to say that he made a mistake. HE MISREAD THE CARD! The real Miss Universe was actually Philippines!

I couldn't believe what I was watching. Was this a joke? Was this actually happening? This is the most awkward thing I've ever seen in my life. But no, it was real and live.

Everyone was in shock and it ended with the crown being taken off of Miss Colombia's head.
