2015 brought us a lot of new shows or new seasons of our favorite shows. According to Business Insider there were over 400 scripted series on TV this year. That's a lot of binge watching!

Business Insider compiled a list of the top 20 TV shows of the year using Metacritic scores, which keeps track of how TV shows are reviewed.

These are the top 10 TV shows of 2015:

  1. Fargo (FX)
  2. Transparent (Amazon)
  3. The Americans (FX)
  4. Louie (FX)
  5. Game of Thrones (HBO)
  6. Master of None (Netflix)
  7. BoJack Horseman (Netflix)
  8. Veep (HBO)
  9. Rectify (SundanceTV)
  10. Justified (FX)

Some other ones that made the top 20 include Broad City (#11), Orange is the New Black (#19) and Mad Men (#20). You can view the full list here.

E! News also put out their list of the best TV shows of the year and this is what they came up with:

  1. Game of Thrones (HBO)
  2. Mr. Robot (USA)
  3. Outlander (Starz)
  4. Fargo (FX)
  5. How to Get Away with Murder (ABC)
  6. You're the Worst (FX)
  7. The Affair (Showtime)
  8. The Flash (CW)
  9. Empire (FOX)
  10. Inside Amy Schemer (Comedy Central)

Looks like FX dominated TV in 2015 and people still love Game of Thrones. Do you agree with these lists? What was your favorite TV show of 2015?

Personally, How to Get Away with Murder is still my favorite because it keeps you on the edge of your seat and if you ever find yourself being accused of murder, watch this show and you can somehow manage to escape the charges.

Two new shows this year, which aren't on the list and I really enjoyed are The Grinder & Grandfathered. Both are on FOX and both star hot and funny men (Rob Lowe and John Stamos).
