Well, it's not the Cotton Bowl, but it's also not nothing, which describes the past two seasons of Bronco Football. The Western Michigan Broncos will play the Brigham Young University Cougars on December 21st in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

The game will be played at Albertsons Stadium, which has blue artificial turf, and is quite funky to look at not only in-person, but also in high definition on television.

This will be the second trip to the Potato Bowl for several Broncos, who were freshmen when the Broncos played in the game in 2014.

The Broncos (7-5) and Cougars, who finished the season at 6-6, have played five times in their history, from 1962-1970, with BYU winning three of those games but Western was victorious in the most recent one in 1970.

The two schools had one common opponent this season, Northern Illinois. Western beat the Huskies 28-21, while the Cougars lost to them 7-6.
