Consumer Reports has reported that 33 of 57 store-brand food are equal to or better than the name brand foods, as shown by taste testers. It was found at least one store brand from the Costco, Sam's Club, Target, Kmart, Trader Joe's, Walmart, and Whole Foods brands that were equal in quality to the national brand. Not only do these brands tend to be cheaper than the brand names, but they were found to be favored more than 60% of the time.

While some people buy certain brands just because they think they are getting better quality, this goes to show that you can save money and have the same or superior quality products.
