Captain Crunch Not Really A Captain!?

Outrage has overcome the internet. Someone finally noticed that our very own Captain Crunch is no Captain after all.

The people who designed our favorite cereal mascot had ONE job. Get his suit right. They were unable to complete that task. As the photo shows a Captain has 4 sleeve stripes on his jacket. A commander has 3. The Captain (or should we say Commander) Crunch has only 3 stripes.

So, who's the liar here? Captain Crunch or the people who took his majestic photo? Were they trying to set him up? Could this be the newest conspiracy?

We'll just have to wait for comment. Until then...Crunch-a-tize me Captain!
