Central Michigan University Reminds Students To Lock Dorm Room Doors After Early Morning Assault

Central Michigan University iis reminding students to lock their doors after four young women were assaulted early Sunday morning in Merrill Hall.

Police tell 9&10 News they believe a male student targeted a specific dorm room where the four women lived.

They say he was drunk early Sunday morning when he entered the room, sexually assaulted one of the women, and assaulted the others.

The suspect was arrested and will be charged with several crimes, including sexual assault, home invasion and assault and battery.
