Join Channel 957 in honoring kids doing excellent work in their communities with Community Kids on Channel 957. We want to honor kids that are going above and beyond to help out people in their community.

Each month, a few kids will be highlighted as the Channel 95-7 Community Kids of the Month. At the end of the year, all of those kids will be in the running to be the Community Kid of the Year!

All kids are eligible, we just want you to tell us their story. Do you know a child who helps tutors some of the other kids at school? How about one who has started up a community service project? Maybe a kid who helps out their elderly neighbors? We want all of those kids and more for Channel 95-7's Community Kids!

Last year's Community Kids were great examples of the kinds of kids we're looking for:

We featured Kylee Wheeler, a 5th grader who was a part of her school's recycling club and flag raising team, and who also spent her time volunteering at Kids' Food Basket!

We also featured Eric Mapes, who volunteered his time at the Humane Society, paying special attention to the pets that looked like they needed the most love and affection.

Another Channel 95-7 Community Kid was Alexandria Dells, who blew her mother away when she asked that he sweet 16 party be a benefit for Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.

If you know a kid helping out in the community, let us know! Email
