UPDATE: Charli's much-hyped afterparty has finally commenced! The pop star released her red and pink-glazed zombie-themed video for "After the Afterparty" on October 30, just in time for Halloween.

In the clip, the British hit-maker parties hard with her undead (or perhaps just suuuper turnt) posse. Limbs are lost, bottles are popped, and Beats by Dre headphones are, uh, product-placed. Watch up top.

ORIGINAL POST: Charli XCX is kicking off a brand new era with an (after)party popper: "After The Afterparty," a buoyant, joyous fists-aloft cheer that fits in perfectly with Charli's signature brand of rowdy, youthful rebel yells like "I Love It," "Boom Clap" and "Break The Rules."

"Make sure u play it on repeat at ur halloween ragers, birthdays, funerals this weekend. it's a real spooky banger ;)" she wrote to fans in her latest newsletter.

Just...uh, don't ask her about her last album, maybe?

While talking to Beats 1's Zane Lowe in an interview about the creation of her latest track in writing sessions for her third studio album, co-produced by FRED, StarGate and PC Music's SOPHIE of PC Music, Charli revealed that Lil Yachty — who features on the track — is quite possibly a bigger fan of her latest LP than she is.

"I kind of hit him up on the Internet. And he hit me back. He was like 'I love your album Sucker!' Which I was like whoa, that's cool because I, like, hate that album now. So it's cool that he likes it," she said.

One thing they both do like? Panic! At The Disco.

"We actually bonded over Panic! At The Disco, because I guess we were both into them when we were younger. That was an unexpected twist in our relationship," she gushed.
