If you were watching Jeopardy! on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 you probably saw that one of the clues made reference to a Michigan town. Bay City was referenced in the category "Bays and Gulfs" during the show. The thing is, this isn't the first time that it has happened, and last time, 16 years ago, the clue was almost exactly the same.

The full clue read, "You'll find Bay City in this state near Saginaw Bay". The answer was, of course "What is Michigan?"

Back on September 22, 2000 under the category "Midwestern Cities", the following clue appeared, "Bay City in this state is named for its location near Saginaw Bay." Why do we know this? Because there are people out there who are super dedicated to chronicling all of the clues given on the show.

Jeopardy-FAQs.com says that "the questions are never repeated verbatim on the show."
