Chris Pratt Takes ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Co-Star Baby Groot to Visit Children’s Hospital
Chris Pratt is at it again. The actor is not only known for his roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World, but for often using his fame for a good cause by visiting children’s hospitals. Earlier this year, Pratt donned his Star-Lord costume to visit some special friends, and this time he’s back with a very adorable little friend: Baby Groot.
You may recall that earlier this year, Pratt waged a bet on the Super Bowl with fellow Marvel star Chris Evans — whoever lost had to visit a children’s hospital of the winner’s choosing in full superhero costume. You could hardly call that a “loss,” which is why even though Pratt fumbled the bet, Evans accompanied him and the two made a day of bringing cheer to a handful of unfortunate kids.
Pratt can’t keep himself from spreading joy to those in need, this time teaming up with pop star Ciara and her boyfriend, NFL pro Russell Wilson, to visit Seattle Children’s Hospital. The hospital says Wilson actually visits every Tuesday, though he brought some special guests this time, and one of his special guests brought a tiny guest of his own. Yes, Baby Groot visited a real Baby Human:
Wilson’s Why Not You foundation collaborated with Amazon to donate gifts to the patients, including various Kindle devices. Pratt posted a photo to his own Instagram account with a joyful message about his visit:
Your move, everyone else.
