John Pinette, the chubby stand-up comedian who is best known for playing the carjacking victim in the final episode of "Seinfeld," has died. He was 50.

Pinette reportedly died of natural causes on Saturday at a hotel in Pittsburgh. His agent has confirmed his death.

Pinette was a rather self-deprecating comedian. His weight was the butt of many jokes in his three comedy specials "Show Me the Buffett," "I'm Starvin'!" and "Still Hungry."

Pinette's agent Nick Nuciforo said that the comedian had been working on another stand-up project when he died.

Pinette also appeared in movies including "The Punisher" and the television series "Parker Lewis Can't Lose."

Pinette also appeared on stage in a national tour of "Hairspray" as Edna Turnblad.

No autopsy was performed and Pinette's own physician signed off on the cause of death.
