There's a lot of buzz around the Grand River these days. There's a group working to restore the rapids in the Grand River, and now a company wants to make it so that you can soar far above it on a zipline! Find out more after the jump!

Zip The Grand has been working for two years to develop the plan to add a zip line that goes across the entirety of the Grand River somewhere near the iconic Blue Bridge. The 1400 foot line would be the first of its kind in the state, and would also include a ropes course.

The proposal still needs to be approved by the city, but organizers hope to have it up and running in the fall in time for ArtPrize.
