Demi Lovato Sizzles With ‘Cool For The Summer’ On ‘The Voice Australia’
Demi Lovato might be cool for the summer, but the American pop princess brought the heat to Australia's cold, long winter this weekend with a sizzling live performance of "Cool For The Summer" on The Voice Australia. And boy, did she take the crowd down into her paradise.
Dressed in a sexy, totally early 90s ensemble—black hot pants, a strappy bra top, big geometric earrings, and a sequined cropped jacket with colorful checker blocks—the 22-year-old pop artist put on a particularly hot show for the live audience on Sunday August 9, which included judging panelists Jessie J, Delta Goodrem, Ricky Martin, and The Madden Brothers.
The steamy performance kicked off with Demi (looking gorgeous and glowing with a perfect sun-drenched summer tan, by the way) perched flirtatiously between a panel of mirrors, giving an almost 360 degree view of the star's curvacious body type as she launched into the sugary first verse of the hit single, writhing seductively on the stage floor. Of course, things got really fired up once Demi stood up to belt out the bombastic chorus of the summery dance-pop track, stomping around the neon-drenched stage and dancing with her all-girl backing band like the post-Disney pop goddess she is.
After the high energy performance, Demi—who currently stars as the cover girl of the September 2015 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine—exclaimed to the crowd, "I love Australia... the opportunity [to perform] hasn't come and now it has and I'm so glad!" We're sure the Land Down Under was glad to have you, Demi.
