IFC's new show, Brockmire, is about sports announcer Jim Brockmire and his return to calling (minor league) games years after an epic on-air meltdown. The show doesn't premier officially until April 5, but the first episode has been posted to YouTube.

A friend suggested that I check out the show, and less than two minutes into the pilot, something familiar caught my eye.

Yup, that's an advertisement for Grand Rapids' Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in the background of that game. How cool is that?

I'm not sure if the placement was on purpose, or if maybe the show is simply using old footage from a game where the ad happened to be up.

(Just a warning, after you see the ad for DeVos Children's Hospital, it gets real crude and sexually graphic real quick.)
