‘Diana’ Poster Removed from Outside Parisian Tunnel
Monday afternoon a movie poster promoting Naomi Watts' new movie Diana was removed. The poster was placed outside the entrance to the tunnel where the late Princess of Wales was killed in a tragic car accident with boyfriend Dodi Fayed in 1997. The placement of the poster caused quite a ruckus and the poster was asked to be removed by the French distributor of the movie. The movie which is said to follow Diana in the last two years of her life has received poor reviews in England; one critic said " I hesitate to use the term ‘car crash drama’, but the awful truth is that, 16 years after that terrible day in 1997, she has died another awful death.” Diana is set to open in the US on November 1.
