Dog Survives 14 Story Fall Thanks to Human [Video]

Hey look, humans can do nice things!

This story comes of out KGW in Portland, Oregon where a 5-year-old Bichon Frise named Mordy climbed through the railing on his balcony. The balcony was 14 stories up!

A man in a nearby apartment noticed Mordy and saw that the pooch looked like he was going to fall. Ted Nelson ran out of his apartment, and as he arrived to the high rise Mordy slipped.

Nelson tells KGW

“I just looked up at it and it was looking at me and it landed right in my chest… caught it for a minute, kind of fell, it did hit the ground. It let out a yelp but it was a huge relief to hear it yelp.”

Yes, Ted Nelson caught Mordy!

Mordy was taken to the vet, and we're happy to report he survived with just a few bruises.
