it was about a video that I found on YouTube that highlighted ten reasons not to move to Grand Rapids.

In the twelve-minute video, they highlighted why you might not want to live in Grand Rapids, complaints locals have, and things you might want to know before you move to Grand Rapids.

After seeing such a big reaction, my co-worker Wendy suggested I do ten more reasons not to move to Grand Rapids, but with my own twist.

After some deep thinking, this is what I've come up with.

1. Too Much Craft Beer

Grand Rapids loves craft beer so much that they have been named "Beer City USA"

On top of that, there are so many popular breweries within a 45-minute - hour drive. If you don't like craft beer, don't move to Grand Rapids.

2. Multiple Sports Teams

Grand Rapids also has several sports teams that the locals love.

The Grand Rapids Griffins, who our an AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings, play downtown at the Van Andel Arena.

3. Water Is Everywhere

The Grand River flows through downtown Grand Rapids.

You're also not that far away from Lake Michigan and its miles and miles of shoreline.

Grand Rapids averages 64 inches of snow per year, That's over five feet!
