Grammy Award-winning hip-hop icons Drake and Lil Wayne are going on tour starting Aug. 8.

The Drake vs. Lil Wayne Tour kicks off Aug. 8 in Darien Center, N.Y., and runs through Sept. 27, with performances including Aug. 16 at DTE Energy Theatre in Clarkston and Aug. 10 in Tinley Park, Ill., outside Chicago.

Drake originally signed under the hip-hop veteran Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment in June 2009, and the two have often collaborated.

Since, Drake created hit singles and albums including tracks such as "Best I Ever Had" and "Started from the Bottom."

Tickets for the sale go on sale to the public on Friday.

Citi card members have access to presale tickets beginning today through 10 a.m. Thursday through Citi's Private Pass Program.
