I'm all for anything that will make me look better and give me a couple more I.Q. points -- especially when it involves food! 

According to Coed Magazine, there are eight items you and I can add to our daily diets that will not only help you and me drop a few pounds, but they could actually make us smarter!!

For example,  pomegranates are rich in a variety of antioxidants that protect both your brain and its functions.  Perhaps my favorite item on the list is coffee!  Researchers claim a cup of joe is not only antioxidant rich, but it also protects our brains and its functions.
