Sad news for you Elisabeth Hasselbeck fans out there. Your favorite spirited blonde's last day on "The View" is today! According the the Huffington Post, Hasselback's final show with "The View" will be today, and she is leaving to join the cast over at Fox News' "Fox & Friends".

This doesn't come as a surprise to many. Rumors have been circulating for months that Hasselbeck would soon be leaving "The View" to pursue other ventures. Hasselbeck, who has been the token Conservative on the show for years now, is leaving for a show that is much more in line with her political and social views.

I remember watching the show when it first started, and I couldn't believe how everyone picked on her. She gained her voice at some point, though, and started picking back. In 2007, she had a pretty famous quarrel with then-co-host Rosie O'Donnell. Just a year later, she and co-host Whoopi Goldberg got into a war of words over "the N word". More recently (in 2012), she and long time host Joy Behar argued intensely about Mitt Romney.

This announcement comes just days after Joy Behar announced that she will be leaving the show.
