Alaskans Lisa Brayton and Brenda Carr are huge fans of Elton John. When they saw that he was going on a farewell tour, they decided to take in as much Elton as they possibly could. So, the pair booked a flight to Detroit to see Elton John play at Little Caesar's Arena. THEN, they hopped in a car and drove to Grand Rapids to catch his October 15 show at Van Andel Arena.

From there, they could go home happy. They had seen Elton twice in the span of a few days. But, things got a little bit sweeter for them while they were preparing to fly home from Grand Rapids' Gerald R. Ford International Airport.

As they sat eating lunch at the airport, a group of men sat down next to them and suddenly they recognized them as four of the people they had seen on stage with Elton John during the two shows they attended. That's right - Nigel Olson, John Mahon, Matt Bissonette and Ray Cooper also happened to be leaving GRR that day.

What a cool experience for two fans who obviously LOVE Sir Elton John. Check out Brenda's Facebook post about the encounter below.
