Florida Inmates Save Baby From Locked Car [Video]

"Thank God for the criminals in the world!" Shadow Lantry announced as Florida inmates rescued her daughter from a locked car.

The baby was accidently locked in the car in a Florida parking lot after her father strapped her into her car seat and threw his keys in the front seat, not realizing that the car doors were already locked.  After closing the back passenger door, he quickly realized he had made a huge mistake by locking his baby and his keys in his car.

That's when a group of prisoners on work release noticed some commotion and came over to help.  The inmates were low-risk and under the supervision of Pasco County Sheriffs.

The Sheriffs noted that they don't normally let inmates break into cars with coat hangers, but they made an exception this time.
