Now there's a headline I never thought I'd write. But, it's 100% true. In the town of Maryville, Ariz. (a suburb of Phoenix), residents are being hounded (no pun intended) by a gang of stray chihuahuas.

It's not just that these dogs are roaming freely, peeing on every hydrant they can find, and harassing kids as they try to walk to school, they also seem to be recruiting other, bigger dogs to join their rag-tag gang, according to My Fox Phoenix. Local animal control agencies have been dealing with thousands of calls from residents, but still haven't been able to get the situation under control. The fact that the dogs aren't spayed or neutered is making the problem even harder to deal with.

Melissa Gable, and official with the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control is urging folks who see any of the dogs to try to contain them in their yards and then call animal control. Animal control will then pick them up, and spay/neuter them, ABC News reports.

I can see how all of this is a problem, and a general nuisance, but if my neighborhood were to be infested by something, I would probably want it to be chihuahuas.
