It looks like ‘Glee‘ has recruited another famous face for their ever-growing family! Matt Bomer, who plays an ex-conman turned FBI consultant on USA’s ‘White Collar,’ has signed on to portray the older brother of Blaine Anderson, played by Darren Criss on the show.

Although details are scarce, Ace Showbiz reports that Bomer will join the show in April and will perform a song with his baby brother Blaine. This is the first time the viewers will get to meet a member of Blaine’s family, and we’re excited to see how Bomer will be worked into the script.

As for the singing part? As Ace Showbiz points out, this isn’t the first time the ‘White Collar’ actor has shown off his vocal abilities. At the 2010 Kennedy Center Honors ceremony, Bomer sang ‘It Only Takes a Moment’ from the musical ‘Hello Dolly’ in honor of composer Jerry Herman. This isn’t his first time working with Ryan Murphy either. Bomer is starring in Murphy’s film adaptation of ‘The Normal Heart,’ in which he plays a gay fashion journalist living with HIV.

Along with Bomer, the execs at ‘Glee’ have also recruited many other famous faces to guest star as family members. Recently, Fox confirmed that Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes Mitchell would be portraying Rachel Berry’s gay fathers, while Gloria Estefan signed on to play the part of Santana’s mother.

So, do you think Matthew Bomer is a good match for the role of Blaine’s brother? Leave us a comment.
