Golden Globes Tonight
The Golden Globes are tonight at 8:00 on NBC.
The list of nominated movies includes a whole lot of movies I'd like to see but haven't seen yet, especially Black Swan and The Fighter.
I did see Winter's Bone. Jennifer Lawrence got a well-deserved Best Actress nomination for her performance. I think Natalie Portman will win it though.
My daughter's vote for Best Animated Feature goes to Tangled, but it picked the wrong year to be nominated with Toy Story 3 also up for the award.
I think Black Swan and The Social Network will rule the night.
I'm looking forward to watching tonight, although I will continue to protest True Blood being shutout with no nominations. Looks like Boardwalk Empire picked up this year's mandatory HBO nominations.
And we should have seen Modern Family up for a few more awards too. What about Julie Bowen as Claire?!
