Grand Rapids Comic Store Attempting To Break Record For Most People Dressed As Batman

To celebrate Batman's 75th birthday,Vault of Midnight Comic Books is attempting to set the world record Wednesday evening for most people dressed as Batman in one place.

They will need more than 250 people to break the record. The first 200 people to arrive will receive free Batman masks, and the first 25 people to arrive will receive capes. The Batman Dance Party will be open to everyone, with tickets costing $6 before at the shop,and $8 at the door. The event takes place at Pyramid Scheme from 8 p.m. until midnight.

The whole city is celebrating Batman's birthday, with other Batman-themed specials in Grand Rapids including Batman-shaped pizzas for sale at Cult Pizza noon-4 p.m. and 10% off your purchase at Mayan Buzz Cafe with receipt of a purchase from Vault of Midnight.

The party serves a dual purpose as it is also a celebration of Vault of Midnight's first anniversary of its Grand Rapids location.
