Grand Rapids Police And Kent County Sheriff’s Department Hiring

In two separate Facebook posts this morning, GRPD and the Kent County Sheriff's Department announced they are looking for new police officers and deputies.

The Grand Rapids Police Department is hiring for position of police officer for their first recruit class of 2015.  The full-time position pays $42,276 - $66,536 per year, and the city will be accepting applications until January 30.  Those interested in this position can find more information here.

In a similar post this morning, the Kent County Sheriff's Department announced they are looking for marine patrol deputies and parks police deputies.  The deadline to apply is January 16 and can be done here.  According to the official posting each position pays $17 per hour.  Other positions within the department are available including corrections officer and county patrol officer.
