Grand Rapids Woman uses Donation to Deter Campaign Sign Theft
With election day nearing, and this campaign being... well, everything that it is, lots of reports of campaign signs being stolen from yards have been reported.
One Michigan woman decided to "poopy trap" her signs with cat feces to keep thieves away; another has decided to offer up a donation for each sign that is stolen.
WZZM-13 reports that a Grand Rapids woman wrote to the their Facebook page, saying six Hillary Clinton signs and three Bernie Sanders signs have been stolen from her yard recently.
She says her children are scared about strangers being in the yard.
To attempt to stop the problem, she's put up a sign using a quote from Michelle Obama,
"When they go low, we go high. For every sign vandalized or stolen, $50 will be donated to Planned Parenthood."
