Police are investigating after two Grand Rapids' area Macatawa Banks were robbed within days of each other.

The first robbery happened Saturday, Jan. 13, at Macatawa Bank at 3177 Knapp St. NE. A suspect passed a note to a teller, got the cash, and fled.

According to Fox 17, the second robbery occurred around noon Tuesday at the Macatawa Bank at 2440 Burton St. SE.  In this instance, a suspect again entered the bank and gave a note to the teller.

GRPD have released surveillance photos of the suspect.

He is described as a white man, in his 50s, around 6 feet tall, with a thin build.

It's believed he may have driven away in a burgundy sedan.
