GRPD Look for Missing 13-Year-Old Girl

UPDATE: WZZM-13 reports that Perla has been found safe and unharmed.

The Grand Rapids Police Department is asking for the public's assistance locating a missing 13-year-old girl.

WZZM-13 reports that Perla Mendez allegedly ran away from school Thursday, Sept. 22.

She is believed to be hanging out in the Grand Rapids metro area. She may be with friends or with an older male she may have recently met.

She is 5’11” and 112 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a navy blue, short sleeve polo shirt, and khakis.
