Okay, maybe that’s being slightly dismissive. It’s quite possible that Justin Timberlake does have great things to say about the people of Grand Rapids.

But, that article that you’ve seen floating around Facebook with the title “Justin Timberlake Says This About the Residents of Grand Rapids, MI” is false. It’s what the kids call “fake news”

The article is posted on WRPM33.com, which sounds like it could be a legitimate news or radio station. But, they aren't. In the website’s very own disclaimer section, they let us know that none of what they write is fact:

So, the next time you see one of your friends, or your aunt you only see on holidays, or your former co-worker post a link to that article, comment with a link to this one. It’ll make you look smart.
