Do you have all the Christmas decorations down?  Of course, finally, because it's nearly Spring.  That's not the case for the Salvation Army.

The 10 West Studios production company is in town to film scenes for their movie, 'Silver Bells,' Christmas decorations and all, at two Salvation Army locations,  Fulton Heights Corps Community Center at 1235 Fulton Street East, and the Kroc Corps Community Center at 2500 Division Avenue South.

Director Harold Cronk, his cast and film crew, are shooting 'Silver Bells' which is a full-length, feel-good Christmas movie written by Andrea Nasfell.  It's scheduled to air nationally this coming November and December, 2013.  The Grand Rapids production part of the movie wraps today.

Actors and actresses from Los Angeles, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Ludington and Manistee as well as the local Salvation Army Brass Band are featured.

How cool is this.  Light, camera.....action!  I'm ready for my scene, Mr. DeMille!
