The rumors are everywhere. Facebook shutting down on March 15th? Say it isn't so! Well, according to the people at Facebook, it isn't. But, where did these rumors come from?

Most experts' best guess is that it came from an article by the satirical Weekly World News a few days ago. It's caused a frenzy of posts from people and the beginning of a group to stop the shut down from happening.

Facebook officials have come out and stated that the rumors aren't true, but we shall see!
