Jessica Simpson Finally Gives Birth

Jessica Simpson, it seems, has been pregnant for at least a year. But, no more. She finally gave birth to a happy baby girl (which she gave a boy name) this morning!

Simpson and her and fiance Eric Johnson (who plays football, I guess) welcomed Maxwell Drew Johnson. She announced it on her website this morning with the message:

Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson. We are grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives!!

According to the announcement on her website, the baby weighed in at 9 lbs. 13 oz. – and was 21¾ inches long.
