As fun as it is to talk about the *good* stuff when it comes to sex it's also extremely important to be aware of the risks. That way if you are aware, sex can continue to be good and not bad.

September is Sexual Health Awareness Month so Heather Alberda, a certified sex educator from the Ottawa County Health Department joined Nisha and I for this week's segment of Just the Tip Tuesday.

With there being so many different types of STD's and STI's, it's vital to have good communication with your partner and with your doctor/provider and one of the most important things is to be routine. Make sure you're getting tested every year, even if you are in a monogamous relationship because it's always better to be safe than sorry.

Nisha and Heather also talk about where you can get STD and HIV testing done, including apps which can let you do the testing at home.

We don't have any vibrators in this video but it's informative and tips that you should always consider when in a sexual relationship.
