Katy Perry sure moves quickly! Just weeks after declaring that she’s single, the starlet appears to have a new beau sending her heart aflutter (or maybe that’s just the whipped cream she spews from her chest, but we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt). Who’s the lucky guy?

None other than Robert Ackroyd of Florence + the Machine! Life & Style (via E! Online) reports that Perry referred to Ackroyd as her boyfriend throughout her stay at last weekend’s Coachella Festival. A spy said, “”Backstage at the Artist Lounge at Coachella last weekend, Katy kept saying her boyfriend was the guitar player for Florence + the Machine. She and a bunch of friends were supposed to go see Dr. Dre together, but Katy said she was waiting to watch her boyfriend perform!”

Cameras caught the couple holding hands, and Ackroyd seems smitten with Perry. The guitarist tweeted about his weekend and how much he enjoyed it:

Cute! Perry’s recently been linked to male model Baptiste Giabiconi, but it looks like that dalliance fizzled out quickly. She was also rumored to be missing ex husband Russell Brand following her recent performance in India, where the pair wed in 2010. We’re happy to see she’s moving on — a fellow musician who understands her touring and busy lifestyle sounds perfect for her!
