Know Before You Go: Morgan Wallen Tonight At Van Andel Arena

After he was forced to postpone his highly anticipated tour in late April due to forced vocal rest from his doctors, he's finally making his way to Grand Rapids for his One Night At A Time tour.

Tickets:

Good news, if you purchased (or won) tickets for the original date, they will be honored at the gates. So, even if your ticket says April 27th, it will still be honored. (Don't panic!)

The show is sold out, and you can take a gamble on the secondary market if you're really desperate to be there, but be prepared to deal with high prices and possible scammers.

Never purchase tickets from third party websites or from a stranger on Facebook, because a lot of those may be fake and there is no guarantee from Morgan's team or Van Andel that you'll get a refund if you're ripped off.

What time does it start, and are there openers?

The show starts at 7, so make sure you have plenty of time to get through security before arriving since the show is sold out

As for openers, you'll get to see Ernest and Bailey Zimmerman before Morgan takes the stage, and I recommend getting there on time because they're both fantastic artists if you're unfamiliar.

After checking the last 5 tour dates Morgan has played he has a pretty consistent setlist, the only thing that seems to change occasionally is his encore.

Parking:

Since it's a sold out show and not the only thing happening downtown last night, you may struggle to find parking right next to Van Andel.

Arrive early because the parking garage across the street on Ottawa is likely to sell out before the show starts, so have that alternative parking spot plan ready.

What is allowed inside Van Andel:

If you're planning on bringing that big pocketbook / purse, don't. Van Andel has a very strict no bag policy that will leave you hiking back to the car if you don't bring the right size bag.

You are however allowed to bring small clutches no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" x 2"

Also, leave all of those weapons and illegal substances at home, because you will be subject to a search. And of course if you have any additional questions, check out the Van Andel website.
