Lifetime Will Air ‘The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Story’

I always wondered if this would happen, and now it's becoming a reality.

The Lifetime Network will be airing a tell-all movie about the behind-the-scenes goings on during the filming of the show Saved By The Bell. 

In 2009, former Saved By The Bell star Dustin Diamond (Screech), wrote a tell-all book about the show, stating that most of the cast (sans him, of course) were sleeping together and experimenting with drugs.

While no one's sure just how truthful those allegations were, they made folks realize that there was more going on behind the scenes of the show that many of us would have thought.

Now, thanks to hours of brand-new interviews conducted for this film, the real story will be brought to life in The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story.

The cast for this tell-all were hand picked by the casting director of the original show, Robin Lippin.

The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story will premier Semptember 1 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
