Lindsay Lohan doesn't get mad, she gets even.

The actress recently revealed to Variety that she purchased the very beach ex-fiance Egor Tarabasov assaulted her on in 2016. The sandy plot is now home to her Mykonos beach club.

"My eff-you was buying the beach," she quipped.

Lohan, 32, recalled the incident, which was witnessed by several people. She said it was "a shame," adding that she doesn't feel the need to speak about it often.

"I was hit and abused physically on a beach in front of people, twice. And then at my house, and thank God a kid saw me and called the police," she said. "It's a shame that people had to see that, but it's not something that I feel is necessary to talk about. It's something that happened to me, and I had to figure out how to handle it on my own."

The incident occurred several months after Us Weekly confirmed Lohan and Tarabasov were engaged after about 10 months of dating. Not long after, The Sun, obtained video of a woman – believed to be Lohan – shouting from a balcony during an argument with someone, thought to be Tarabasov.

"Please, please, please. He just strangled me. He almost killed me. Everybody will know. Get out of my house! Do it. I dare you again. You're f---ing crazy. You sick f---. You need help," she shouted in the clip. "I'm done. I don't love you anymore. You tried to kill me. You're a f---ing psycho."

In August of that year, photos came out of the altercation. The pair could be seen wrestling on the beach over a phone.

Lohan spoke on the abuse after she was slammed over her support of Harvey Weinstein in 2017. She shared a throwback photo on Instagram, with a caption questioning why no one cared when she was suffering.

"As if most women in America cared how I was abused by my ex fiance," she wrote. "When not one person stood up for me while he was abusing me...you could only imagine what it feels like to come out as a #strongwoman."

The photo has since been deleted.
